Turu street 17, Tartu, 2022

In the spring of 2022, a 3.4 m high monumental work was completed on Tartu Turu street as part of the SmartEnCity project. The work is dedicated to the Tartu biodiversity movement and all activists related to nature conservation. It invites us to think about the nature of man – what we organize in this world and how we live, what kind of mark we leave behind. A human being is like a temporary transparent construction dependent on the richness of the environment in order to pass on life. Not only for the next human generation, but also for nature on a larger scale. Although we consider ourselves to be important, we black million depend on the well-being of another being. “We, as humans, will disappear and so will our traces at some point, but if our life is a creation in harmony with nature, then it supports the continuation of life and new traces can appear in the traces,” says the author.
