The problem is not that there are too many people in the world, the problem is that there are too many stupid people in the world. Humanity’s millennia-long effort to get out of nature’s food chain and become the commander of death and birth has thrown us out of dissonance, out of resonance with the loss of a common language and the ability to read. There is still a longing to enjoy beautiful sunsets, the peace and quiet of pure and untouched nature and seek solace, but we want to reap what we do not sow. Force, power and spirit are like a fake and clever crystal structure in our daily life related to waste, destruction of natural environments and species richness.

The piece is part of a larger series depicting a critical situation in nature in sign language conveyed by green hands. If only one finger is left standing – it is a symbol of us, as self-made life-gardeners, shaped by the way of life, corresponding to our language and knowledge skills, with a meaning understandable to everyone: “Up_Yours, Humans!”.
